Only Thermography Can Find Invisible Faults

  • Could you afford to rebuild?
  • How much is your stock or warehouse worth?
  • Could you live with the death of an employee or customer?

Without thermal imaging, even glaringly obvious faults can be overlooked. Regular thermal inspections will help you avoid equipment failure, loss of productivity and fires.

Here’s an Example:

An air-conditioning chiller was driven by this contactor as can be seen by the severe burning of the lower bus bar (see image 1) this fault was not far away from failure, which could have resulted in unscheduled downtime, or a fire at worst.

This visible fault had not been located by the site electrician who visits this panel on a weekly roster.

Unless thermal imaging is employed, even obvious faults like this can be overlooked.

Our recommendations included replacing the contactor bus bar & adding extra ventilation of the panel.

This company continues to receive regular thermographic inspections to ensure they save money and avoid catastrophe.
